Cup of water next to the bed... I usually get thirsty in the middle of the night and don't feel like going all the way upstairs and across the house. I popped off the charger when I left this morning and it must have landed there I guess :/

Ah, that sucks. Before I clicked, I just assumed that it was fraying/tearing like Apple chargers tend to do. I swear, with every single iPhone I owned (and it's been a bunch of them), the cord would fray within a couple months, and be rendered unusable pretty quickly. My LG cords on the other hand (phone and tablet) have lasted me since August without a single issue.

My iPhone cord has lasted me around 1.5 years and is just now beginning to develop a tear in the sheath by the plug in for the phone... pretty good if ya ask me!

Yes, a NEW charger would be around $60, but I have the old 85W one from my 2007 MBP that works fine
